I do all my work by hand with the support of the women I trained. My dream is to expand my project and for everyone to know my work.

Suhad

Being known to be a fantastic chef amongst her family and community, Suhad Bani Yassin had the idea to start a business preparing foods from the local cuisine.

The 41-year-old Suhad said that her family and friends’ positive feedback on her scrumptious food made her consider starting her own business. But this plan would have been short-lived if it wasn’t for Microfund for Women’s help that enabled her to go after her dreams and turn them into reality.

Suhad added that her business helped to provide for her family of 7, and she aspires to expand her business and her client base to make more profit to better the financial status of her family.

She describes her experience with Microfund for Women as “outstanding,” stating that the company had stood by her side since the beginning and had given her several funds of up to 7, which in her words enabled her to “stand on her feet.”
