Mervat

As a divorced Egyptian woman who lives alone, Mervat struggled a lot with different types of challenges, even before getting divorced, it was extremely hard to obtain the Jordanian citizenship to live and work in Jordan.

Mervat needed to have a source of income to provide for herself, so she opened a bridal dresses rental, which was the first-ever in Sahab.

Describing her relationship with MFW, Mervat said: “MFW believed in me and stood by my side when I was abandoned by everyone and gave me the loan I needed to start my business.”

“You are strong and beyond capable, do not give up and work hard with dignity.” This was Mervat’s message to the women around her, inspired by her success story.
