Baking oriental sweets is what Taghreed is famous for amongst her relatives and neighbors, which motivated her to start her home-based business.

The 50-year-old Taghreed said that she managed to kickstart this business with the help of Microfund for Women’s funds, which allowed her to buy the needed cooking tools and ingredients.

When asked about her experience with Microfund for Women, Taghreed said that the financial and moral support from MFW was tremendous. She also revealed she had obtained 8 funds since 2012 that helped improve her family’s financial status.
