As an early bird, Rawda gets up in the morning to open the supermarket as a lot of students and homemakers come by to buy their needs, not to mention the suppliers who arrive early in the morning to provide her with the products she needs in her supermarket
The lack of financial resources stood between her and her wish to grow her supermarket and buy more products; this is why she sought the help of Microfund for Women, which provided her with the fund she needed.
Despite facing many challenges, such as balancing her home and taking care of her family and working at the supermarket, and the competitors in the same area, she provided additional income for her family. In addition, she built good relations with the women of her community. She is aspiring to turn her business into a bigger supermarket in the future.
She also describes her experience with Microfund for Women: “I have benefited more than once from their funds, and it has become clear to me that it is a reliable company and that its treatment is transparent and respectful.
